My Comments

The verb "contacted" is incorrect in this context. The proper verb for acquiring a disease is "contracted," not "contacted." Using "contacted" implies communication rather than the transmission of a disease, leading to confusion. This mistake changes the meaning of the sentence, suggesting that the speaker communicated with the virus rather than became infected with it. There are many other problems with this title. It is structured in a way that implies the caller got the viral infection from the ladies and not that the caller is having a conversation with the ladies about how the infection was acquired. Overall, this is a qualitatively poor and confusing piece of writing.

He merits condemnation in the harshest words. And he demands complete repudiation at the ballot box in November.
