My Comments

The TVC News YouTube channel has done it again! They have shelled the internet with another blast from their arsenal of grammatical blunders. It is like an endless volley of shots that just would not cease despite the repeated corrections. This is a news network aiming to communicate information to a global audience. Yet, these errors remind us of how minor grammatical flaws can contaminate the quality of communication.

In journalism and the media, accuracy is paramount. Headlines and titles are the attention-grabbers readers first notice. As such, grammatical errors can diminish the credibility of the content with which the viewer or reader is about to engage. Grammatical errors demonstrate the need for careful editing and attention to detail, especially in high-visibility contexts.

The correct form of the title should be:

“Morayo and the Ladies React as NNPCL Pushes Fuel Price to 1,030 per Litre in Abuja, N998 in Lagos”

This is because she has formally endorsed his political opponent. Donald Trump deserves every iota of denunciation he receives for being such a brutish political figure. He merits condemnation in the harshest words. And he demands complete repudiation at the ballot box in November.
